I am extremely familiar with the effects of anti-anxiety medication, and what these medications do to a person. Even further I can tell when someone is dosed up on Ativan or Xanax (andthing in the Alprazolam family).

Tony Hayward’s body language, eye movement, facial expressions, and speech give away his lack of a “straight mind”. It’s painfully obvious that he is medicated with an anti-anxiety medication of some sort. It’s sad, and pathetic to watch a man crumbling on the world stage. He is not the ONLY culprit involved in this Oil Spill Tragedy, but he is certianly one of them. He knows that he may be sent to jail, and others in BP could do jail time. It’s understandable that he is under a great deal of stress, and it’s understandable that he may require medication to help him through this – BUT! BP should put someone in front of the Congressional Hearing who is not medicated and falling apart.

BP is falling apart and so is Tony Hayward. His answers are so pathetic and vague. He is simply trying to cover his ass, and as many asses as possible. He (and BP) have no intention of being forthcoming and truthful. They are continuing to lie through their teeth to the World, America, the Congress, and to “The Small People”.

I have begun a campaign to have these MPs removed from office if they are found to be promoting any further activity by Canadian Armed Forces in Afghanistan. We never should have been in Afghanistan in the first place, but thanks to weak-kneed politicians in Ottawa, we followed along with the Bush administration (and now the Obama administration) into war.

Canadian politicians (starting with the ones in my home city of Calgary) need to be voted out if they support any further wars just because the USA says it is required.

Canadian voters need to apply enough pressure on these MPs to reverse their stance on this issue.

Sarah Palin Signing a Five Dollar Book

I wrote a letter to Mrs. Sarah Palin today from my MySpace account to her MySpace account, entitled From Some Friendly Canadians. This was in response to her comment today regarding the Canadian Health Care System. But first the story.

Comedian Mary Walsh’s beloved character button-holed the former Alaska governor at a recent book-signing in Columbus, Ohio, only to be strong-armed away from Palin by a cabal of security guards.

The action was documented on Tuesday night’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes,” but four days later, Walsh was still marvelling at her close encounter with one of the most controversial politicians on the planet.

“We told her we’re from Canada, and we’re just looking for a few words of encouragement for the Canadian conservatives who have worked so tirelessly to destroy the socialized medicare that we have,” Walsh recalled Tuesday from St. John’s.

“Four huge big burly guys started pushing, and I pushed back, but I got her attention, and she told us to keep the faith, something like that, and said we’re all trying for the same thing.”

After being kicked out of the book-signing, Walsh and her crew then waited outside at a loading dock close to where Palin’s bus was parked. When Palin emerged from the Borders bookstore, Walsh said, Delahunty – dressed in a more toned-down version of her trademark warrior princess costume – called out to her.

“Hey, remember us, we’re the Canadians! We came all the way here from Canada!” Delahunty yelled. “When we asked you that question, we didn’t hear your answer.”

Palin strolled over, looking down on Walsh and her crew to tell them that “Canada needs to dismantle its public health-care system and allow private enterprise to get involved and turn a profit.”

Anyway, my response to Mrs. Palin below.

Hello Sarah,

We been watching your trials and tribulations on your major cable networks (LEFT RIGHT AND CENTER) and we really don’t pretend to assume to know everything about the American Health Care System.

Keep your nose and mouth OUT of out our business please. Our health system works just find, contrary to what the right wingers in your country assume. We don’t ration health care and we have a priority system for order based on human suffering and human needs.

YES, if you want elective surgery, don’t have pain, and are in good health – you will wait a few months. But if you are sick, you are IN NOW!

You DON’T know you are talking about in the slightest, and we urge you stick to feeding misinformation to your own people.

Good day. EH! 

PS – your ego has made you blind and you are suffering for it now, and it looks like perhaps you will be suffering always.

It was obvious from the beginning where Obama was going with health care, and many other problems he is dealing with – he understands the power of “baby steps”.

If Obama had a completely DEM controlled Senate, he would be approaching the health care debate much differently. He knows he has a Republican party that is going to vote against any health care bill the DEMS want, and he also know that some of these Conservadems (Blue Dogs) are not going to vote with a strong Public Health Care Option in the Senate.

You hear reporters, and talking heads, claiming that the DEMS have these big majorities in the Congress and Senate, but it’s far from the truth on some bills, and health care is one of those bills.

Being a fairly hard American left-wing supporter (more like fanatical lefty – from Canada so what do you expect) I too want to see a single payer, Government run, Universal Health Care plan for my American brothers and sisters. I too want to see an end to the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” law in the US military.

I too want to see “Gitmo” shutdown. I too want to see the complete END to the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and anywhere for that matter. (I think America should get out of all these wars, spend their money on complete health care and infrastructure projects. I think America should use covert operations, Satellites, spies, intelligence ops, and drones to deal with terrorists).

But Obama knows that this is all to much to ask for. He’s a pretty savvy dude, if you haven’t noticed yet.

So These Are Obama’s Real Plans – His Baby Steps

Health Care

  • get rid of the preexisting conditions scam
  • create mild competition for insurance companies to lower costs
  • insure more people (but understands all can’t be done yet)
  • regulate insurance companies
  • have a way to monitor insurance company practices

Gay Rights (but only after Health Care and Wall Street regulatory changes are made)

  • repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and make it legal for gay people to serve in the military
  • give gay citizens the rights they are being denied (marriage etc.)

Wall Street

  • heavily regulate Wall Street avoid another crash in the United States  economy

The Wars

  • he wants to ratchet down the wars SLOWLY without petting the conservatives fur backwards until he gets health care through. He knows he won’t get the GOP votes for his health care bill, but he needs those right-leaning DEMS to support him, and if makes any big moves with the wars right now, he will likely loose them.
  • once Obama has health care finished, he is going to go even more to his natural left – just watch. He will pull out all the troops by the end of 2011. I know the hard left wingers (like me) want all the wars over NOW, but there is more to it than that
  • with the economy as bad as it is, if he can employ thousands upon thousands of troops in the military and civilian contractors over in the middle east (with FULL Republican and DEM support) it’s like a kind of welfare program, even if the effort doesn’t get any results. He knows that some young people are going to die over there, but it is blood he is willing to have spilled for the greater good of America in the long run.
  • Obama knows that the USA is going to have nothing but hatred coming at it from the extremist NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES, so he may as well employ hundreds of thousands of Americans with contract employees and military employees.
  • Obama also knows that if he pushes the war in Afghanistan he will be making the right-leaning moderates and the right wing voters happy just enough to likely vote him in for a second term as President.

Obama’s Overall Strategy

Obama’s overall strategy is simple. GET a second term so he can really go left as hard as possible. If the health care bill makes the Preexisting Conditions ploy by insurance companies illegal, he will have secured the health over 2oo million Americans who have health insurance now. He thinks that whatever else he gets on the health care “reform” bill is just gravy – forget about a public option……he thinks that is TOO MUCH CHANGE TO FAST.

He wants to push the watered down (but still trans-formative) health care bill through before the House and Senate seats are shuffled in 2010 – and I assure you, they will be shuffled, giving the GOP more seats.

He knows that all he can do is put America in the right direction (or should I say left direction). He knows that his legacy may never be about HUGE change, except for the color of his skin, and that his accomplishments will have been nothing more than baby-steps away from a “center-right” agenda in American politics.

Until one fine day when the politicians in the United States are not allowed (by law to except) “bribe money” from corporations, these are the kinds of “Obama baby-steps” we can only hope for.

Well it’s true. As the health care debate continues it’s very obvious to anyone with a clear pair of eyes that the majority of American politicians love death and hate life.

The scrap in the congress and the senate continues for health care and the GOP and the Conservadems are whining about the cost of the health care bill which is still lame and will kill hundreds of thousands of Americans over the next 10 years.

And just today you will notice this was not in the headlines anywhere of note. Especially not on the tube. THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS JUST PASSED A BILL GIVING 130 BILLION MORE DOLLARS TO THEIR STUPID WARS IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN.

So it’s very plain to see that the American politicians LOVE DEATH and HATE LIFE. Over 4,500 Americans have died in the wars, and many thousands more wounded. Over 1 million people have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. Death, death, and more death, and the US politicians have no problem putting up hundreds of billions of dollars for war.

Yet for health care back home it’s A REAL BIG PROBLEM spending a portion of the money they spend on war on health and life for their voters and citizens.

As Long as American Politicians Are Allowed to Except Money From Corporations The U.S.A. is Doomed

Don’t believe that? Better start waking up now. When a country has politicians in the federal and state level governments who can take money from corporations it’s obvious what the outcome is going to be. The rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer, the poor will have high death rates, there will be wars forever, and the result will be a completely corporate run country which is EXACTLY the same culture as a communist country. It’s doesn’t matter what you call it – if the masses have dick and a small percentage at the top get it all, IT’S DISGUSTING, IT’S SHAMEFUL, IT’S UNJUST, IT’S UNFAIR, IT’S NOT RIGHT, IT’S CRIMINAL.

Wake up America, and vote out these politicians who have been selling you out for decades.

Wake up Obama. Shut those wars down, and give your people universal health care. While you’re at it regulate the CRAP out of Wall Street.

Sykes ranted about Rush Limbaugh saying he wished Barack Obama would fail. She ended by saying she wished that Mr. Limbaugh’s kidneys would fail. She also joked that Limbaugh was likely a terrorist like Osama Bin Laden because of his so-called verbal treason.

Some of her comments about Limbaugh;

“Talk about evil people (Republicans), they’re just nasty! (Rush Limbaugh) saying, ‘I want the president to fail!’ What kind of bullshit is that? He thinks screw everybody else. Screw everybody, I just want to win! That’s treason, right? I’m like, ‘Let’s not close Guantanamo (Bay), send Rush Limbaugh’s big ass over there! He’s a terrorist!’”

“You’ve had your fair share of critics. … Rush Limbaugh said this administration fails. … He just wants the country to fail. To me that’s treason. He’s not saying anything different than what Osama Bin Laden is saying. You might want to look into this, sir, because I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker but he was just so strung out on Oxycontin he missed his flight. … Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that? He needs a good waterboarding, that’s what he needs.”

Great. Fine. Excellent. Rush Limbaugh can eat some of his medicine. Of course I am biased being a stark raving liberal minded type. (Video Below)

I think though that it was obvious that Wanda Sykes was going to controversial since she has been know to bash the GOP before, as in on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

I for one was surprised to see Skyes go off as hard as she did. There is a problem though if the hard left wing gets too vindictive towards the GOP.  We don’t want a backlash where American’s start feeling sorry for the hard right Republicans.

There needs to be room for the moderate Republicans to take control of their party and grow back into serious opposition.

I’m sure Skyes will be more of a household name tomorrow. Millions will see her the first time, and their opinions will surely be varied. Hard right wingers will hate her, Conservatives will dislike her, moderate Democrats will be concerned, and hard left-wing Liberals will applaud her.

Either way, she is allot more famous as of now.

Executive Orders and Quantamano Bay

He spoke about our security being stronger and enhanced because of Obama’s new executive orders regarding the “torture camp”, and the new Envoy’s being sent to the Middle East for talks with Arab leaders.

The President is satisfied that the executive order regarding Quantamano was done in a way so that the structure of the executive order following the Flag Officers suggestions regarding the use the Army Field Manuals.

Journalists questioned Gibbs on the new administration’s believe that executive order to close Quantamano Bay within a year and transferdetainees to different locations, and setting in motion a plan for fair trails.

It’s apparent that the press is going to be holding Obama’s administration’s feet to the fire.

Obama's TeamAbundance of Caution on the Oaths

He did quite well, and spoke smoothly regarding “an abundance of caution” regarding Obama’s botches swearing in on inauguration day. Chuck Todd from MSNBC drilled Gibbs on the the re-swearing of the Obama oath.

Hard Questions on Lobbyists in Washington

More straight questions to Gibbs regarding Obama’s new direction as far as what lobbyists are prohibited as per another new executive order. Obama’s administration is being accused of making acceptions to this new executive order with some appointees.

More On Bail-Out and Stimulas Packages

More questions from the Press Corp. regarding the use of public money in the bail-out and stimulas package.

Gibbs outlined the economic team’s formulation of the stimulas package and prevention more major banks filing for bankruptcy. Gibbs mentioned that the financial package has to help main street by making banks lend money and free up the credit market.

Also Gibbs mentioned that they need to stop the CEOs getting big pay-outs.

On Torture

Gibbs said that Obama will be upholding American values as far as not torturing prisoners, and adhering the International Law.

Memorable Quote

When asked about how Barrack Obama and his famiy in their new home in the White House Gibbs mentioned what it’s like for Obama to be;

In Conclusion

Gibbs did well and seems to handle criticism well and stayed calm and relaxed. He ensured the White House Press Corp that the Obama’s administration has the economy problem directly in their sights and is working everyday to redirect the course of the economy, and is having daily briefings on the economy.

After the oath of office Barack gave his inaugural address which was expected and delivered in an amazing and a course smooth and cool fashion. I already have some Barack Obama souvenirs from his primary but make sure I ordered some inauguration souvenirs online.

With all of the inauguration events and the inauguration balls, parties, get-togethers, and all around jubilation it is sometimes easy to forget to buy some souvenirs to remember the day and pass them down to our children and our children’s children. Having these kinds of souvenirs is priceless just like the day John F. Kennedy was inaugurated on the same steps in Washington D.C.

After his inauguration Obama did his speech which was (as I mentioned) stirring and amazing. I saw people with every kind of souvenir you can imagine. People were buying T-shirts, baseball caps, socks, blue jeans, golf shirts, buttons, penants, lighters, plaques, dishes, rings, necklaces, jewelry, and every other kind of souvenir and paraphernalia you could possibly imagine. I know I did list of all here.

I made sure that I bought souvenirs for the whole family and a pretty well filled up the whole trunk of my car. I spent over $400 on Obama souvenirs which all had to do with his inauguration. I made a lot of people happy and the family at all I could say was look after them and keep everything from being dog-eared, oxidized, and/or just plain abused.

Barack Obama Inauguration Souvenirs Will Be Priceless In Years To Come

Whatever you do make sure you protect all of your inauguration Day souvenirs from the elements, the air, condensation, dirt, dust, and anything else that could smear, scratch, or ruin them.

The souvenirs will be priceless beyond measure in 20 to 30 years. Most of us will choose to keep the souvenirs from Barack’s inauguration day celebration in the family as heirlooms, but some of us will choose to sell them (probably on eBay or online somewhere).

Some of John F. Kennedy’s inauguration day souvenirs sold for big big bucks in 30 years after his death. Perhaps John F. Kennedy’s souvenirs would be worth more because of his assassination, but because Barack Obama is the first African-American president the souvenirs could be setting a precedent.

I wrapped all of our souvenirs in plastic, airtight packaging, and temperature controlled areas. If I had my way all of these keepsakes would be kept under glass but since I am not running a museum shrinkwrapping will have to do.

If you did not buy any souvenirs from the inauguration I am sure there are companies online who will be providing trinkets and keepsakes for cheap in the near future. Some of the items we have seen on TV all the late-night infomercials are pretty ridiculous but some of them are definitely worthy.

Stay away from the cheap so-called Obama coins because they are really just crap and they don’t sell for much years down the road. If you buy a souvenir on the same day from a vendor right in the capital in Washington and you can prove it with some sort of certificate that is the most valuable kind of souvenir you can buy.

  • Bill Clinton telling reporters in his smug snicker and gin grin that Jesse Jackson (another black man) won south Carolina twice so Obama didn’t really have any bragging rights. Disgusting.

Many Clinton supports threaten a scorched earth policy, also known as the poison pill tactic, whereby they take their fury all the way to Denver Democratic convention. On top of these threats, some Clinton supporters promise they will vote for McCain.

I have an answer to these sad Hillary supporters. Go ahead. If you somehow drag the process down far enough, and Bill and Hillary all of sudden become COMPLETE fools and help you on your quest for the poison pill (aka scorched earth) remedy to your unhappiness, it’s your loss.

Go Ahead…

Work yourself to the point of exhaustion to disrupt and destroy Obama’s run for the White House. See how far that gets you. Show us that you really belong to the Republican party with some old fashioned ignorant and pig-headed moaning.

If the Clintons and yourselves decide to run this thing to Denver and destroy the Democratic chances to take control of the White House, then you will not see fair health care, reasonable fuel prices, peace, and global respect.

I do believe they had this figured out and negotiated a long time ago, and that the televised proceedings today were nothing but a show for the public. Even the Harold Ickes
outrage where he said that 4 of Hillary’s delegates were hijacked, seemed like a bit like staging to me. It may not have been, but I think the DNC Rules Committee expected Harold’s emotional antics, and they welcomed it. Why? Because the DNC needs party unity more than anything, and by having someone push her case and damn the torpedoes would be a public way for Hillary supporters a valve to blow some steam. I think the whole damn thing was a farce.

Many Clinton Supports Won’t Be Happy No Matter What The DNC Voted

I believe that many Hillary Clinton supporters would never be happy no matter what the outcome of today’s meetings. Unless the DNC awarded Hillary ALL the delegates from Michigan and Florida, they would go home pouting, moaning, bitching, and whining.

The pathetic chant of “Denver – Denver – Denver” coming from the Hillary supporters in the hallway of the convention room at the Marriott hotel in Washington D.C. (where the meetings took place) discredited the Clinton campaign. Who let this trailer trash even near these meetings in the first place? They’re lucky that the Obama campaign felt they were in a position to give up some delegates when they followed the rules laid out by the DNC from the beginning.

If the DNC truly did the RIGHT thing and not the political thing, they would have stuck to the rules and disallowed ANY delegates from Michigan and Florida.

Nope, this whole dog and pony show today was played out to try and appease the intellectually challenged Clinton supporters so they may get their rug-munching fur back in shape for the general election soon to follow.

The DNC Rules committee is presently making a backroom blunder as they take a VERY long “lunch break” in a hotel in Washington D.C. They were supposed to be back to discuss and debate the outcome of the Michigan and Florida delegates.

No question the DNC Rules Committee has finished eating lunch. They were supposed to be making their deliberations in public in front of the cameras. They’re likely deciding on what they are going to let the public see as far as what they are going debate and vote on.

For those Americans who are not bothering to watch this so-called open forum, and they care about who will be the President of United States, they may want to tune into CNN or click here to watch the DNC Rules Committee live. When you open this link you will see a small screen that you need to click to what the DNC Rules Committee in action and without commercials.

I think the DNC is making a huge mistake stopping in the middle of the day for “closed door sessions”. This sets a bad tone for Americans and the voters may believe that the whole process and decision was all back door.

So far the Clinton supporters in the meetings are urging that they get 73% of the delegates in Michigan where Barack Obama was not even on the ballot. The Obama supporters are supporting the notion that ALL delegates from Michigan and Florida are seated even if that means they will lose some delegate ground to Hillary Clinton and her campaign.

From my point of view, and from what I’ve heard from the Clinton supporters today, it seems to me that they want to keep changing the rules until they win. The Clinton supporters seem very frustrated because they know what is coming. Michigan and Florida broke the DNC rules and they are going to suffer for it.

Not only that, the Clinton campaign has been using language that blames the DNC for the mess in Florida and in Michigan when was the officials at the state level that decided to ignore the wishes and rules set by the DNC regarding their primary voting dates.

There are 368 delegates at stake in this deal, and looks like even if Hillary gets EVERYTHING she wants, she STILL won’t have enough delegates to win the Democratic nomination.

They better get back in front of the cameras soon, or it’s going to be messy.

People were lined up since noon outside the arena and there is a big time buzz in the air.

Quote from organizer: “he’s (Obama) is going to change the world for the better, not just the  U.S.A……come on down”

The organizers were really friendly and they gave me this cool Barack Obama t-shirts and buttons for 15 bucks cash. Got some strange looks from some of the people who saw our license plate and realize we’re Canucks.

Weather is amazing and Great Falls is a really pretty little city. Hotel is right on the river along a park and t’s just down the road from the rally.

Houston is having fun and being a great dog. He travels really well now. We will keep him with us in he lineup until it’s time to go in to the rally which in the Four Season Arena.

Kind of feel like a crazy nut-bar going down to the States to watch their election taking place. I just thought that it’s a once in a life opportunity and this could be extremely historical if Barack Obama wins the general election.

Notice allot of Hillary Clinton signs down here but CNN says that Montana is likely Obama country.

My wife and I are a couple of those crazy Canadians who are more interested in American politics than Canadian politics. It’s a long story, but for some reason I’ve been riveted by United States politics since an early age. I’ve been really watching this election closely as it’s historic on so many levels and the U.S.A needs to change the guard in a big way. Barack Obama’s rise is nothing less than an upset for millions of Americans that want the old white guys (girls) left in power.

We’ve been donating to the Obama campaign periodically since he started his run for the White House. Anything to upset all those folks who get upset with big change (very political sentence there)

When you use the link above to see Barack’s donation page, you’ll likely call bullshit as you have to be a US citizen to support his campaign with your money. Well I found out that I can use a United States zip code, and use my Canadian Visa card to donate. We’ve been donating regularly.

ll my adult life I never really believed another candidate like JFK would come along who is very sharp, charismatic, and with ideas of peace for the world. I said to my wife when I first heard him speak, “That’s it honey! We have finally got our generation’s JFK!” Many Republicans will gag reading this, but I don’t mind. Even the Republicans have to admit that Barack Obama is very clever, well educated, and tough.

During the primary with Hillary trying to bring him down with some dirt and innuendo, I thought that perhaps Obama wasn’t swinging at her enough in defence, but I’m glad he didn’t. He’s saving up his angst for Mccain and the Republicans. Oh, the GOP is going to fight this one down and try and get some mud to stick to Obama, but guess what? There is very little mud to throw, and none of it will stick. No really believes that Obama is not a patriot because he doesn’t always where a flag pin on his lapel, and no-one really believes that his old whacked-out preacher is his mentor.

At this date of May 29th it’s not TOTALLY a given that Obama will win the primary election against Hillary, because lets face it, the Clintons and their insider Washington cronies will try ever dirty trick in the book to steal the nomination from the Obama campaign. Nothing is beneath the Clintons in my opinion if you take a good close look at their elitist attitudes and background. Got a kick out of the Clinton campaign telling us that Barack was the elitist.

However, the math looks like Hillary will have to pack up her pantsuits pretty soon and jump in the ring to fight for Obama in the general election. Her disappointment can be seen in the corners of her eyes and in face expressions of her dearly beloved slick willy. Bill Clinton really pissed me off when he took his juvenile cock out of his pants and gave the Republicans fodder to discredit the Democratic party. I have no problem with a guy or gal getting their groove on, but the silly bastard ruined the Democratic momentum that was building in the United States during the 1990s.

So here it is, history is being made this year for the world at large to see, and my wife and I would never forgive ourselves if we didn’t take this 6 hour drive to witness history face to face. I pray that Barack wins the White House and turns the U.S.A back around to re-claim her true beauty and regal place on earth.

For all the US citizens reading this…………..vote and vote often for OBAMA 2008! See you Great Falls! I’ll post some of our pictures and videos from the rally at the Four Seasons arena. I’m pretty tall so I should be able to get the camera over the shoulders and heads.

As a Canadian who has watched dear Ann in action, you would think I would be bias in my opinion, as she has continually insulted the “Great White North”. Well I’m actually starting to get smart in my old age (44 years), and there is only one way I see the Ann issue. She doesn’t really have a serious opinion (in my opinion) and she’s nothing more than a glorified shock jock who is in dire need of a cheese burger.

The first time I watched her on the idiot box I “got it” She actually WAS a democrat, as StormBrewing mentioned, and flipped over to the Republican side of the fence when her fellow Democrat’s turned their back on her. Ann is really a metaphorical Joan of Arc, who is trying to “get back at” the Dems that cast her away. We’re just seeing a spoiled brat in action. Not to be taken seriously.

It’s really a game that Ann Coulter has been playing for years in a public forum. She’s not well informed, and her lack of grace says allot in terms of her limited capacity for compassion. The photo above (Nazi Slime Disease) which has her in a collage of famous images, is proof of physics……for every action, there is a reaction, response, and equalizer. When you spew hate, you get hate.

Ann Coulter’s comment on John Edwards

I’ve chosen not to simply hate Ann Coulter. I hope she finds a place of peace in her life, and I hope the millions of people she has outraged and offended will find their place of peace as well. However, I don’t see a place of peace for Ann. Her comments up to present day will leave a mark in the minds of people around the world. She’s well past getting her 15 minutes of fame, and her flame throwing is getting REALLY boring.

If she wants to really make a mark, she ought to spend some serious time with her therapist, read some Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra books, start eating like a human being, and admit to her hate base what her real gig is – shock talk.

Someone so inflammatory is media bait, and it’s the media in general that has chosen to use here for ratings. Americans (and Canadians inlcuding me) will listen to her simply to see what kind of incoherent dribble she bulrps out next. That’s entertainment.

I admit to being a left-leaner myself, but no so much that I consider the right side of aisle as plain evil. I think Falwell was a most interesting figure in United States history, and his death on May 17, 2007 ushers in a new time.

With the ’08 election looming and the Bush camp dragging the Republican name, and the United States through the mud (bloody mud at that), the Falwell titled Moral Majority is in dire need of a new leader, a new platform, and a really big megaphone. Yes, the Moral Majority was formally disbanded in 1989, but their still out their friends.

Your humble narrator can see them lurking in the night white-knuckling bibles, guns, and Falwell bobble-head dolls. Oh yes, they’re out their now and they’re registering more of their flock to vote then ever before. This group is still a power-house, as seen by the way some the running candidates are sucking up to the so-called Christian Coalition.    

I know this sounds naive, but there are some liberal dreamers that actually believe the right-wing factions are washed up. Nothing could be further from the truth. They’re simply in the down swing, and they’re bedding down with their high quality cheese for a few years.

I believe that Bush and the boys have really hurt the Republicans, but so did the last Dick in the late sixties and early seventies. The cycle goes on and the time-space continuum in Washington just keeps swirling around.

When the Dems get in they’ll piss off allot of people too – like they always do. They’ll tax and spend very likely, and someone will be sticking their cigars where they don’t belong, and before you know it…….the boys in blue will be jumping all over them.

So just in case my fellow left-wingers were thinging we won’t be seeing the Republicans “reloading” guess again. Lest we forget! Yep!!!!!
