My Mom’s Latest Piece – “Wagon Wheels in The Snow”

My Mom is an excellent painter and sketch artist. The way it works is this. She’ll sketch out the idea first, and if it work REALLY well, she’ll leave it in that medium.

If the piece can be improved with the use of color, then the painting begins. To see the full drawing, you’ll have to click the image.

I’m really proud of all her work. My Mom and Dad’s home has her paintings and drawings on most of the wall space. Some of here paintings get sold to high bidders (if she feels like parting with them), but most of them she keeps in the family.

It’s an amazing feeling to be surrounded by personal art, instead of paintings, or prints acquired in the local Walmart or Ikea. Enjoy.

I’ll post some of her other paintings which are in color, on another day.
