New version of Safari has just been released, and being a Mac admirer, I thought I would bring it up here. During my research on the new Safari, I found a good piece over at Joseph’s blog.
Looking back at the history of Apple software that runs on Windows, it seems to me to usually be born out of necessity. QuickTime has been around on Mac and Windows for awhile (early 90s?). More recently (2003) we have iTunes of course. Both of these I think Apple needed to have a Windows versions, QuickTime in order to get people to use it and iTunes to support their growing iPod market.
