The One Ebook I Would Buy If I Had To Start Over
When I first began my journey on the road to financial freedom, I hunted the Internet from A to Z looking for the right model, method, and system. I had not used the Internet to buy anything up until then so I was skeptical about the viability of an online business. I was very leary of pulling out my credit card and entering the numbers into an online form. My knees felt weak when I finally bought my first ebook - pretty funny looking at it now, because I buy ebooks like so much kleenex now, but $50 dollars was allot of money to me back then.
So my first ebook cost me a whopping 50 something dollars, and looking back on it now I realize that my very first ebook helped me on my path to the lifestyle I enjoy now. It acted as an introduction to the world of online income, marketing, and Internet traffic, yet the information it held was fairly simple.
That first ebook filled my mind with the possibilities of an online business that runs 24/7/365. I saw a survey site once that showed a husband and wife working on their computers overlooking a tropical beach. That image is still burned in my brain, and the amazing thing is, I’ve experienced that exact scene a fews times in the last year and a half. As a matter of fact, we just got back from a trip to Palm Springs for three weeks, in which we were laying at the pool with our laptops. By 11:30 in the morning our commissions were over $300 and my night-fall we we’re at about $900-$1000 USD. It still feels like a weird dream to my wife and I. Of course the “things” we have and the “things” we do don’t mean a hill of beans if we don’t have inner peace, so most of my daily work now is on my own thought processing, and balance. I’m a little on the OCD side. 
Anyway, I’m getting off track (as usual). After my first ebook I felt much better about the possiblities of an online income - for two reasons. One, I did not get ripped off (rarely have), and two, it opened my mind to the realization that I could also achieve a life of financial freedom. Next thing I knew, I had purhcased three more ebooks that were much more expensive. All of them were instant downloads of course, and they showed me in detail how I could create my own online presence. I truly believe that EVERY ebook I’ve purchased has some redeeming quality to it, and therefore I never asked for a refund from any of the authors.
My wife asked my last night, “If you were to buy one ebook today and you were starting all over, which ebook would it be - what system would it be?”
Great question I thought. Where I could even begin to start! I’ve had a few favorites - some that cost over $1000, and some that were as cheap as $10. Generally you get what you pay for, but there have been some exceptions. When I sat down to go through all of them, it occured to me how many of them repeat some of the same material. That would make sense though, as there are some basic practices that all Internet marketers have to follow. I counted over 60 different ebooks in my collection! Man I spent a whack of cash over the last couple of years!
After reviewing all ebooks and systems I finally did narrow my choice to one. I’m gonna go with Mark Warren’s ebook
(The Ultimate Wealth Package). The advantage of his book are as follows:
- his system is sensitive to beginners in that you don’t need years of work to begin succeeding
- you don’t need any big up front investments
- his system creates a truly residual income
- I know how the Internet works, and what he talks about in his ebook has proven to be true in my experience
- his ebook over-delivers more than any other ebook I have invested in
- his ebook is inexpensive at $50 (well….presently at $50)
One of the things I did on my first ebook purchases was print them off and put them in three ring binders. I read them through a few times before applying the steps, and I took my time getting going. I used a high-lighter to mark the most important lessons, and I re-read them over many times until it all sunk in. (a photographic memory is not something I possess) I suggest taking this approach.
Mark’s approach is very refreshing because he sticks to the methods all successful online business sites employ. So many so-called gurus teach methods that are time limited and likely don’t hold up as the Internet matures. For instance, many of the first online streams of income I had when I started out all dried up in under a year. The streams of income I’ve created using a Mark’s methods have lasted and actually grown over time. It’s simple - he helps beginners create real websites that search engines and visitors actually like. This is an important statement. Many people try to trick search engines into ranking their sites in search results, but ultimately their traffic dries up. When you use Mark’s sound principals, your streams of income can’t, and won’t ry up.
Mark’s sales page sounds like a typical ebook sales page, which is unfortunate. His actual downloadable product is nothing average, yet his sales page can come across somewhat typical. Keep in mind that when you read any ebook regarding affiliate marketing, online income, email marketing, or Adsense income, they all talk about imagining a free lifestyle and money to burn. It’s a cliche for sure, but it’s all true. I NEVER would have imagined the money my wife and I are making now. I would never imagine the 4 holidays a year we take, or the absolute freedom we have. When you read these sales pages, remember that many ebooks don’t deliver ALL the answers, but they all have one thing in common…….the image of financial freedom from online income is very real.
