In Victoria, Hunter S. Thompson, Financial Freedom, and Tangents

WellÂ my wife and I had to hit the road again. It’s the summer, and there are too many beautiful places to visit. ThisÂ junket will take us toÂ Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. For those of you have never visited this Vancouver island jewel, I highly recommend an excursion of your own.Â There is alot to see and do in Victoria, so on your firstÂ trip you may not see it all. Just make sureÂ you visit the inner harborÂ the first time you go. It’s one of theÂ most magnificent locations in the world.

Sorry that this post is a littleÂ off topic, but itÂ does tie into the theme of financial freedom. TheÂ freedom an Internet business affords you is priceless. I’m going to enjoy writing on this blog more than any other webÂ entity that I’ve been involved with. I need this outlet to just spew off on any subject, even if it’s notÂ directly related to Internet marketing, online income,Â contextual advertising, etc.Â I’ve spent countless hours helping family, friends, and strangers get their small businessesÂ online, so sometimes the whole subject gets a little dry for me.Â The thingÂ about it is though….the answer to everyone’s question (how to make money online) is simple. Write good content that people actually want to read, and you will make moneyÂ online.Â

Much like myÂ article ROI inÂ the KOAÂ this one is all about the freedom you can have when you escapeÂ the life of an employee, orÂ slaveryÂ brought on about byÂ self employment. Don’t get me wrong. I understand that some people love their jobs, or their self employment work, and if that’s the case,Â they are very lucky.Â Most readers of this blog areÂ in the business of web publishing, or on their way to being in the business of web publishing. Looks like I’m off course again. Maybe I will NEVERÂ write anÂ article that doesn’t touch on online income.

I’ve always loved writers that go off onÂ tangents and that is what will be happening on Zulit.com. ReadersÂ who don’t want to go for the ride, can simply click away to another topic. One of my favorite writers is Hunter S. Thompson, and he is one of the kings when it comes to going off in tangents. He had some mind altering substances running through his blood, so I think that had something to do withÂ his writing style.Â If you’ve never read one of his books, do yourself a favor, and pick one up. You might want to see the movie (starring Bill Murray) entitled, Where The Buffalo Roam, which is a humorous take onÂ Hunter S. Thompson’s crazy lifestyle.

One of the kings ofÂ tangent-exploitation is the late Ronnie CorbettÂ from the hit BBC comedy The Two Ronnies. His monologues were priceless, and sometimes painful,Â because he would drift soÂ far offÂ the main subject.Â Sometimes I just wantedÂ him to hurry up and get back to finishing his initial story,Â but the tangent WAS the essence of his monologues. So if some readersÂ visitÂ this blogÂ JUST to read about online income, my apologies are extended to you now, as I’m not likely to stick to any one theme. There is a category menu on the right sidebar, and there is always the search field at the top/right of the page, if you need to bolt at anytime.

So it’s 27 degrees CelsiusÂ (80.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in VictoriaÂ today andÂ I’m off to Bear Mountain Golf ClubÂ with my best friend, whom I grew up with in Terrace, British Columbia. As young boys, we were serious golfers when we were off the ice. Growing up in any area of northern Canada, a young boy was destined to be strapping on some hockey skates and dreaming of an NHL hockey career. Wayne and I fit that description perfectly. Anyway, I better get my clubs ready for the day. Thanks for coming by again, and going on my little ride.
