John Reese Telephone Seminar
Last night I was one of the two hundred folks listening in on a John Reese telephone seminar. Howie Shwartz and Dr. Mike joined Reese on the call. The jist of the conversation was about making the most money possible from your web site traffic using data collection. What they were talking about was using a different method of web site or blog monetization other than just contexual advertsing (such as Adsense). John Reese and his associates talked in length in respect to converting leads from web site visitors via data forms. They basically recommend setting up your web site with forms that capture information from visitors, which in turn, generate lead pay. They discuss setting up direct relationships with companies willing to purchase lead or prospect pay.    Â
This makes sense to publishers who use contexual advertising and have trouble making sizable profits. This makes sense if you are able to convince your visitors to enter their information into your online form. I agree that their methods have merit, but I don’t believe inexperienced Internet business people will succeed using these ideas. I think beginners are still better off to stick with contexual advertising along the lines of Adsense, Ads by Yahoo, or Chitika. Read more »
